Accounting

Students enrolled in School of Accountancy are provided with a number of benefits, including the chance to acquire practical experience in the field of accounting, helpful student organizations, substantial financial aid, and the opportunity to graduate with a degree that is nationally recognized.

MU's prestigious and competitive School of Accountancy offers the following degree options:

  • The 150-Hour Program - combined BS Acc/M Acc degree
    The bachelor of science and master's of accountancy degree programs merged into an integrated 150-hour curriculum (to be entered into as a junior)

  • The Masters of Accountancy Program - M Acc degree
    Exceptional students who have already completed a bachelor's degree in accounting (or the equivalent coursework) at another college or university may apply to be accepted to the graduate component of the 150-Hour Program (the last 30 hours).

  • PhD Program
    This four-year program trains and prepares students for an academic career at institutions having both teaching and research missions.
