For the undergraduate programs in the Trulaske College of Business, all required general education, program prerequisite, and upper-division courses must be taken for a grade (A - F) instead of on the S/U system.
A cumulative GPA of 2.5 must be earned on the total courses attempted for each of the following categories:
A student may count no more than 40 hours of credit in courses within the chosen emphasis area, i.e. 40 hours of marketing courses, etc. Students must complete 30 of their last 36 hours of courses at MU, enrolled in the Trulaske College of Business.
Do I need to apply for graduation?
An application for graduation is due the semester you plan to graduate. There are three ways to apply for graduation:
- Stop by 111 Cornell Hall during On-Call hours
- Attend the Graduation Application Fair (January 23-24 in 205 Cornell)
- Fill out the Online Graduation Application (See link below)
How do I apply for graduation online?
Applying online is a breeze! First, read through the following information BEFORE filling out and submitting the application:
- Fill in EVERY category
- To check your name in MyZou, go to your Demographic Information
- Check your permanent address on MyZou as this is where your diploma will be sent after graduation.
- If you have a minor with another department, make sure you follow their guidelines for filing
- The date must be in this format: mm/dd/yyyy
- By filling out the signature box, you are indicating that you are aware that to graduate you must not only complete all course requirements, but also fulfill the Professional Development Program Requirements (BA 3500, BA 4500, and 200 PDP points)
- Click "submit" to finish
- Please do NOT submit an online application from anywhere other than your Mizzou E-mail address.
- Do not submit an online application before the semester you are slated to graduate.
There are two ways to submit this form depending on how you check your email on the computer you are using:
- Outlook/other desktop email platform - When you click submit, you will choose to send the form via this option. The email will automatically be generated, and all you have to do is click "send."
- Internet/Webmail - If you are using a web-based email, you will select that option when prompted. Then you will save the application to your desktop, attach it to an email, and send it to trulaskegrad@missouri.edu.

How are Latin honors figured?
Graduation with Latin honors is determined by the GPA from the last 50 hours in the UM System or the overall UM System GPA, whichever is highest.
What are the GPA requirements for Latin honors?
GPA requirements for honors are 3.5 for cum laude, 3.7 for magna cum laude, and 3.9 for summa cum laude.
Where can I purchase my cap, tassel and gown?
Your cap, tassel (color drab) and gown can be purchased from the University Bookstore.
How many guests may I bring?
You may invite as many guests as you wish.
