Masters of Accountancy

Dr. Loren NikolaiBusinesses today are increasingly hiring new professionals who have master's degrees and at least some previous business experience. MU's innovative 150-hour accountancy program provides the opportunity to acquire both of these distinguishing credentials. The program may be formally entered as early as the beginning of the junior (third) year of a student's undergraduate education or as late as the master's level (following completion of a baccalaureate degree). In either case, students who complete the program ultimately earn a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree.

To make it possible for students to obtain significant professional accounting experience prior to graduation, the 150-hour program also offers students the opportunity during their fourth or fifth years to pursue an accountancy internship.

We believe MU's 150-hour accountancy program is truly outstanding and provides graduates with exceptional career opportunities. Moreover, there are many additional benefits associated with enrollment in the 150-hour program, including substantial financial aid, helpful and enjoyable student organizations, and a vibrant and pleasurable community in which to live and study.
