Getting Involved

There are over 400 student organizations at the university and there are over 20 student organizations just in the College of Business. In the College of Business there are opportunities for all students to get involved, whether you are a freshman or a senior. The key is finding out which type of organization interests you. Some organizations have memberships based on major and/or specific business interests.

The college has two very active national professional business fraternities whose goals are to enhance students' opportunities in the fields of accountancy and business. Activities include presenting professional speakers, making field trips to various organizations, community service projects, fund raisers, and social gatherings. Members can gain leadership experience, improve their communication/interpersonal skills, establish lasting network of friends, learn about business, and have fun.
