When finished using the classroom computer, please log off but do not shut down the machine.

Wired keyboards and mice have been installed in the classrooms to improve ease of use. To retain wireless functionality during presentations, remotes have been added to each classroom. Please do not remove the presentation remotes from the classroom.

The computer with DVD player and VCR are located in the closet or cabinet.

There are wall switches for the projection screen and window shades, with the exceptions of:
  • Room 211, which has manual shades.
  • Rooms 40, 42, 44, which have automatic projection screens that descend when the projector is turned on.

The classroom technology controls were updated in rooms 40, 42 and 44 in Summer 2010.

  • AMX touch panels on the teaching tables control the classroom technology.

Auditorium: The microphone is stored in the computer closet. The volume is controlled by the instrument panel on the instructor's table.

Technology Services has additional batteries on hand in the instance a microphone battery runs out.

Black-Screen is far easier on the projector than turning it off and on multiple times during a class session, and having to wait for the projector to warm up and cool down. Please note that the LCD display will continue as normal; black-screen affects only the projected display.
