GMAT Information

The GMAT test is computerized and is offered on a regular basis at your convenience.  You may schedule your test appointment online at http://www.mba.com/, or call 1-800-717-4628. 

Columbia Testing Center
The testing center location in Columbia, Missouri is Pearson Professional Center located at: 3610 Buttonwood Drive, Suite 102A.  Numerous centers are also available nationally and internationally. Locate a convenient site for you at the web site and phone number listed above.

Preparation Software Available

The MU Library has a resource called Learning Express Library, which has two timed GMAT practice tests.  Applicants with an MU affiliation may visit the MU Library website and click on Learning Express Library to learn more.

The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) now offers for free the latest version of Test Preparation for the GMAT: GMATPrep Software. This software includes two GMAT computer-adaptive tests driven by the software application used for the actual exam.

The software is available for download from http://www.mba.com/mba/TaketheGMAT. Also, CD-ROM versions of the software will now be automatically mailed to individuals making appointments to take the GMAT. The software will be available for download to anyone registering on the Council’s web site, but the CD-ROM version will only be available to individuals who schedule test appointments.

Crosby MBA Admission Requirements
The entering class of 2008 had an average GMAT score of 637. Applicants are expected to have a minimum score in the mid-to-upper 500's. The GMAT is an important factor in the admission decision, but it is evaluated in conjunction with all the other materials in an application package.

Test Results
At the time you take the test, please designate University of Missouri-Columbia MBA - #596-15-82 as a recipient of your score. We must receive this official score from PearsonVUE before we can finalize your admission decision, but you can submit the score report printed on the exam day as a preliminary report. We should receive the official score 2-3 weeks after your test date.
