Larry Frey has interviewed more than 2,000 candidates during his thirty-three year career at Eli Lilly & Co., a leading corporation committed to developing a growing portfolio of best-in-class and first-in-class pharmaceutical products that help people live longer, healthier and more active lives. Additionally, he serves on a management team that interviews candidates from top 10 MBA school across the country. This interviewing workshop is highly interactive, so come prepared to participate, learn, and have fun!

It will cover topics such as:
1) Foundation interviewing skills, such as dress, resume, and communications
2) Behavioral styles of interviewers and candidates, and
3) The greater part of the workshop will focus on today's employers interviewing for "emotional intelligence" (EI), a strong indicator of human success.

Emotional Intelligence (EI)

EI can be defined in terms of self-awareness, altruism, personal motivation, empathy, and the ability to love and be loved by friends, partners, and family members. People who possess high emotional intelligence are the people who truly succeed in work as well as play, building flourishing careers and lasting, meaningful relationships.
