The Business Week 2019 Steering Committee is proud to present an array of faculty speakers. Students will learn about various careers in academia, research projects, professional pathways, and more.

Faculty are being asked to give a 40 minute lecture followed by 10 minutes of Q&A. They will focus on their work (professionally and academically), and how their career path led them to their role as a faculty member. The presentation is an opportunity for students to gain insight into personally attested academic and career advice, business careers in the industry and academia, and different careers paths. Specific talking points will include:

  • The difference between a business career in industry and in academia.
  • Process of becoming a faculty member, and what are some of your job responsibilities outside of teaching.
  • What can an undergraduate student do now if they want to pursue a business career in higher education?
  • Exposure to faculty research interests.
