Trulaske College of Business student Evelyn Stone, along with fellow MU students Sarai Vega and Maddie Sahudin, was recently announced to be the recipient of the fall 2019 Bond International Scholar Award. Recipients of the award will gain the necessary experience and skills to influence the next generation of global citizens. Evelyn, a business and economics major, is studying at the Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan, for an academic year. She views the experience as preparation to work in government as a translator or auditor after graduation.
The award is made possible by a generous endowment from the friends of retired U.S. Senator Kit S. Bond and is awarded to both MU graduate and undergraduate students studying abroad.
