Leadership Development

Today a Student. Tomorrow an Executive.

A degree may get you in the door, but it takes more to go from a study corner to the corner office. At Mizzou, students gain valuable business experience and network with employers and professionals in the field before graduation. The result: Mizzou students are professional and prepared when they graduate. Check the left menu for the opportunity that's right for you.

From the annual MU Venture Competition - where students enter original entrepreneurial venture ideas - to this year's inaugural SEC Case Competition – where students tackle a pressing business issue - students with the spirit for competition have a variety of choices at Mizzou. Students have excelled in the Show Me Business Plan Competition and the annual Deloitte Tax Case Study Regional Competition.

Service in the Community

Mizzou students also serve the campus and the broader community – and have fun doing it. In past years, students have participated in projects such as Relay for Life, Adopt-A-Highway, Supportive Tigers Riding in Pursuit of Ensuring Safety (STRIPES), Habitat for Humanity, Tiger Night of Fun, and Adopt-A-Family.
