The Foreign Agricultural Service offers a variety of services and programs that help U.S. agricultural exporters succeed in the global marketplace. From facilitating relationships with potential foreign buyers, to providing technical and financial assistance, FAS’s resources and expertise link U.S. agriculture to a world of opportunities.

Small Business Administration

The SBA website includes many key exporting resources, including information on exploring exporting and federal loan programs that support export expansion. Additional resources include an export business planner and a collection of export success stories.

Export-Import Bank of the United States

The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) is the official export credit agency of the United States. They provide businesses with access to a number of financial tools that can assist with export financing and reduce the risk of buyer non-payment.

Missouri Department of Economic Development

The Missouri International Trade & Investment Office lends assistance to Missouri businesses seeking to enter international markets. Missouri businesses have access to trade counseling and customized market research, assistance with agent distributor searches, trade show participation and customized trade mission assistance.

Missouri Department of Agriculture

The Missouri Department of Agriculture’s International Marketing Program provides a variety of export services and has successfully linked Missouri’s producers of processed foods, including meat and poultry, food ingredients, feed ingredients, identity preserved grains, forestry products and purebred livestock to international buyers.
